What is cold process? Cold process is made by combining oils & butters with sodium hydroxide (lye), without any additional heat, to make soap. 

What is the benefit of cold process soap? Having complete control over the process from start to finish means being able to ensure high-quality, sustainably-sourced, natural ingredients. It also lacks the added detergents found in many store brands, which can strip the skin of its natural oils.
